TMAC is a junior company who have been active in the Kitikmeot region for only a few short years. They see the potential in the former Newmont owned Hope Bay Belt for gold and have been aggressively yet respectfully working towards production. While this company is a new one, the team behind it have the experience to hopefully bring this project to market. They look beyond this as a single mining project and view it as a long-term commitment to the region.
